About Cart add-ons (Pop up) campaign

Cart add-ons (Pop up) campaign shows relevant add-on products in a pop up when the customer clicks the “Checkout” button. It prompts users with quick, last-minute options to boost order value.

  • Can be used to display a pop up of last minute add-ons before checkout.
  • The add-ons are not preselected. Customers can select add-ons manually.
  • Optionally, you can enable the quantity picker to allow the customer to choose multiple add-ons.
  • Add a timer to create urgency.

Where does the widget appear?

The widget appears when the “Checkout” button is clicked in the cart.

Example use cases

On the hoodie page, once the customer clicks on “Add to cart” button, you can display the add-on products like sunglasses, bracelets, chains.

The customer can choose the required add-on products and click on “Add items to cart” or just “Skip to checkout”.

Points to keep in mind

  • It can be used to show when you have multiple related or non-related add-on products that the customer can add before they checkout.
  • Optionally, you can offer a discount to encourage the customers to buy the add-on items. The discount applies only to the add-on products.
  • If the customer chooses to buy only one add-on, discounts still apply to the single add-on thereby encouraging partial purchases.
  • Customers can skip or select the offered add-ons.
