About Cart upsell/down-sell (Pop up) campaign
Cart upsell/down-sell (Pop up) campaign displays an upsell product when the customer clicks on the “Checkout” button. Based on the customer’s accepting or declining the offer, further upsell or down sell product can be shown.
- Show an upsell pop up when “Checkout” button is clicked.
- Pop up helps in displaying the product images and description clearly.
- You can show up to 3 product recommendations one by one.
Where does the widget appear?
The widget appears when the “Checkout” button is clicked in the cart.
Example use cases
In an apparel store, let’s say a customer is buying a t-shirt. You can offer a pair of matching sunglasses that goes well with it.
Optionally, based on the customer accepting or declining the sunglasses, you can show more offers - like a chain (Upsell) or a low-cost sunglass (down-sell).
Points to keep in mind
- This campaign helps you show one product at a time, and being a pop up offers good visibility.
- In this campaign, you can show a custom product description that entices customers to accept the upsell offer.
- Discounts when set up, apply only to the accepted upsell / down sell products.
- Multiple offer stages are optional. You can have further upsells or down-sells only if required.
- Customers can skip or select any products.
