In cart upsell encourages last-minute additions, enhancing the chances of increasing the cart value before checkout.

  • Easily add products with a single click on add button.
  • If the “Add” button doesn't work well with your theme, you can switch to using the “View” button instead.
  • Display offer products in the cart to encourage additions before checkout.

Example use cases

In an apparel store, say if a customer adds a t-shirt to his cart. Some of the items which can be offered as add-on products are shorts, socks, sunglasses, caps, etc.

These are last minute add-ons and the customer can just pick one from the lot without delaying the checkout process.

Points to keep in mind

  • Easy to pick up add-on products can be added.
  • The add-on products should be relevant to the cart items.
  • In this campaign, the discounts apply only to the add-on products. The main product stays at full price.
  • If the customer chooses to buy only one add-on, discounts still apply to the single add-on thereby encouraging partial purchases.
