About Product add-ons (Pop-up) campaign

The Product add-ons (Pop-up) displays complementary or frequently paired items in a pop-up window when a customer clicks โ€œAdd to cart.โ€ This shows relevant add-ons that they can add to the cart.

  • Can be used to display 3 or more add-on products.
  • Customers can manually choose the add-ons they need.

Where does the widget appear?

The widget appears when โ€œAdd to cartโ€ button is clicked on the product page.

Example use cases

On the sneakers page, when the customer clicks on โ€œAdd to cartโ€, you can show add-on products like different types of socks.

Customers can choose to add socks to their order or just buy the sneakers alone. You can also offer a discount on the socks if theyโ€™re bought together with the sneakers.

For example, you could give a 10% discount on the socks when purchased along with the sneakers.

Points to keep in mind

  • Show add-ons that are closely related to the main product, making it simple for customers to pick them.
  • It can be a homogeneous or a heterogeneous set.
  • In this campaign, the discounts apply only to the add-on products. The main product stays at full price.
  • If the customer chooses to buy only one add-on, discounts still apply to the single add-on thereby encouraging partial purchases.
  • Offered add-ons can be skipped or selected.
