How Selleasy works? – User Guide

The Selleasy app is used to upsell and cross sell products. You can boost the AOV of your store in a simple 4 step process:

Step 1 Select your campaign type

Step 2 Create the campaign

Step 3 Test in your store

Step 4 Customize the widgets to suit your store.

Now, let’s look into each of them in detail.

Select your campaign type

Selleasy supports 17 different types of campaigns that you can choose from.

You can choose one or more campaign types that would best suit your use case and store.

Once you decide the campaign type that you would like to try, you can create a campaign.

Create a campaign

A campaign setup involves 3 things:

1) Selecting the trigger products

Trigger products are the primary product that when triggered displays the campaign and shows the related cross-sell products. You can choose one or more trigger products by collection, tags, etc.

For example, on the sneaker product page, if you want to show matching socks as offer products, the sneakers will be the trigger product.

2) Selecting the offer products

Offer products are those that can be bought along with the trigger product.

For example, on the sneaker product page, if you want to show matching socks as offer products, the socks will be the offer product.

3) Optional: Setting up discount

In case you want to reward the customer when they buy both trigger and offer products, you can set up a discount for the same.

Test in store

When you create a campaign for the first time, Selleasy will guide you through testing it in your store.

An alert message after campaign creation will prompt you to enable the Selleasy app embed and add app blocks in your theme editor.

Once completed, you’ll be directed to the trigger product page to test the campaign.

Here, you can verify if the setup appears as expected.

Customize and troubleshoot

Each online store is different with different needs. What suits for one store may not suit the other.

The Selleasy app’s customize page can be used to customize the positioning and styling. You can also use custom CSS for advanced styling.

Apart from styling, there can also be problems due to conflicting apps and themes. On these occasions we recommend you to avail our free set up assistance to resolve these issues.
