Thank you & Order status page upsell campaign shows a list of related or recommended products right after the purchase, on the thank you page and/or order status page. It encourages customers to make an additional purchase while they’re still engaged.
- Can be used to display upsells after order placement.
- Suitable for all stores including those where post purchase page is not available.
- Creates a new follow up order and is tagged with the original order ID.
- You can add a timer to create urgency / FOMO.

Example use case
In an apparel store, if a customer buys a printed hoodie, you can showcase related products like a t-shirt, track pant, sneakers, sunglass, cap, watch, or smart band on the thank you page, order status page, or both.
This makes it easier for the customer to discover and buy more items without having to browse the entire store or look elsewhere for what they need.
Points to keep in mind
- Customers are redirected to a new checkout when they want to buy add-ons from the thank you / order status page.
- This order, is tagged with the parent order number for reference.
- You can choose to show the offer on the thank you page, order status page, or both.
- Discounts if setup, apply even when a single upsell product is added.
- Styling customizations are limited as this upsell campaign is natively integrated with Shopify Checkout.
